We are so proud of all of our students, but are especially proud of the students who work hard to be on the All A and A/B honor rolls. Please click the link below to read the honor rolls for this first quarter. We are also proud of our students who have perfect attendance. Perfect attendance is very hard to achieve. Congratulations to our honor roll and perfect attendance students.

  • Bison Naming Contest Results

We would like to congratulate 4th graders Lilly Cole and Lilly Dungan from Mrs. Joseph’s class for being selected as 2 of 6 finalist for helping name the Delaware County Bicentennial Bison, which is now on display in Tuhey Park.  The committee through the Delaware County United Way received over 300 submissions from 4th graders across the county to help name the bison.  Lilly C. suggested the name "Leni Lenape", reflecting the native Lenape language, and Lilly D. suggested the name “Wapi”, short for Wapicamikunk, which was a Lenape settlement where Minnetrista is located today.  More information about the bison can be found at http://www.invitedtoliveunited.org/bison-tennial/.

  • NWEA

NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association) provides an assessment called MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) that allows educators and parents to track student achievement, growth, and needs in the areas of Math, Reading, and Language Arts.  These assessments are taken 3 times per school year and provide great information from academic year to academic year.  Parents are encouraged to become familiar with the NWEA by reading the document below and visiting the NWEA website at https://www.nwea.org/resources/parent-toolkit/.  Questions about NWEA may be directed to YES Principal, Heather Lucas.
